JUST DANCE 2014

Just Dance 2014 is the fifth game in the Just Dance series, developed by Ubisoft. It is expected to release for current-generation consoles in October 2013, and as a launch title for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was officially announced at Ubisoft's E3 2013 press event. This is the first game in the series to have a year in the title instead of the usual number.

Gameplay

On Xbox One, the game will be able to support up to six players at once. All versions include "Classic" free-dance mode, from previous games. In "On-Stage" mode, a new feature in this game, one player dances in a featured role while two players dance backup routines. Another mode lets players dance against ghost renditions of a friend's prior gameplay. The game also has a karaoke mode on consoles with a microphone (except for the Wii). Players are rewarded for singing the right notes with points and are not punished for singing incorrectly. "Party Master" mode is an updated version of the Just Dance 4 Wii U "Puppet Master" mode, where a player uses the Wii U GamePad to change the game's rules, current song, and specific moves for up to four other players. This feature is exclusive to the Wii U version of the game. Dance mash-ups, alternate/extreme/sweat versions and battle mode will be available. Medleys will be returning to the series.
A new mode called "World Dance Floor" was added to the game. "World Dance Floor" mode is a competitive online multiplayer mode structured like a massively multiplayer online game. All players worldwide dance to the same playlist, compete for rankings on a leaderboard, and share each other's AutoDance clips. You must have Wi-Fi (Internet connection) to play this mode. The mode is available on all consoles.
Originally, a "Just Dance DJ" mode was to be featured on the Xbox One version of the game, as seen in the official E3 trailer, but it has since been removed.
Short clips of player dances can be directly shared on Facebook, Twitter, and the Just Dance AutoDance network.
Difficulty levels of songs by number have been replaced with Easy, Medium, Hard, or Extreme.
